Infant & Toddler Program

A safe, playful and nurturing environment for children from 12 months to 3 years old

Our Infant Toddler Program is a special place where students begin their love of learning. Children make friends, play and discover in bright, light-filled classrooms where every detail – from the tiny sinks to the open, neutral spaces for displaying their creations – is intentionally designed for our youngest learners. In protected outdoor spaces, girls and boys become curious explorers of the world, unleashing their imaginations, planting in the garden or having fun on the playground.

Learning incorporates the best of multiple approaches to early childhood education with research-proven strategies for young learners. Young children become imaginative students as they develop fundamental literacy and numeracy skills.

Each day is designed around our youngest students’ needs. Students have physical education and unstructured outdoor play daily, eat a nutritious hot lunch together and are immersed in a technology-free environment. Throughout the day, there are opportunities for quiet, reflective time, and time to apply and extend learning through inquiry projects, art and dramatic play.

Intimate class sizes and caring and experienced early childhood educators help ease the transition from home to school. Parents also play an important role in their children’s education.
